Christian and I had a quick run today and the track is in superb condition, Sunday is going to be excellent fun! Now to decide what classes to run, I think 4 classes might be pushing it!

I don't think 4 classes has been done before Nick, but does helping Jasper count as you running a class ?

Yeah that would make it FIVE classes, maybe I could enter PRO2 and make 6 the goal, I've got enough receivers, 3 chargers and god knows how many batteries, it just may be do-able...150 minutes of racing in one day! Actually maybe one day with enough planning I might give it a go!

And one of these chargers (or similar) do a reasonable job, I have a similar one that we connect to the car battery when we are away from home: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...t_Charger.html

So for under $30 delivered he can have a 2S, 3S and a charger. But you would have to do two orders, one NSW one HK, otherwise he will be waiting for ages for the LiPos to come from HK. Then get the upgraded Losi parts, from Losi Parts House, later when the stock parts shit themselves, which with the MLST2 will take a while, as it has metal diffs already.

Most of this truck is pretty decent quality but the electrics are crap as are the servos (forgot to mention that). The servos need to be upgraded to Hitec HS65MGs with RC18 servo savers, the stock servos WILL break absolutely guaranteed.

I'm pretty sure the servos are cheaper than that at Hobbies in the Hills.

I am running these servos in Mini T and MLST2 with no problems for two or so years now. It is a little pricey at first but cheaper than constantly changing stock servos.
Hi Nick, I ended up getting the hitec servos and servo savers for the mlst2.
will I need to drill holes in the servo saver arm so that I can insert the steel rod that connects in-between the servos? or can I just forget about the steel rod altogether seeing as it is 2 servo set up and not 1. what is the purpose of the connector anyway?

Hi guys,
I'm selling an associated B4.1 Worlds edition, hardly used, excellent condition. Does not include electronics. It's been converted to the optional gear diff, includes painted body. PM me for more info I can bring it down to the track if you want to check it out.
In the near new condition its in I'm asking $200.

Any hard-case stick-pack battery will do, I have an IP 5600 50c that I use.
Mine weighs 310g and I think a heavier battery seems to be better for handling, but that's my personal view, some lower capacity batteries are closer to 200g.
Here is the approved battery list from ROAR: http://www.roarracing.org/?page_id=259

Motor list: http://www.roarracing.org/?page_id=251

ESC list: http://www.roarracing.com/?page_id=737

Not sure if you are looking for new or second hand gear to save money, but Hobbywing make a good and inexpensive ESC, I have been using it in my stock touring car with no problems.

There are 3 entered online, all juniors, so he will be in good company.

Novice entries vary from week to week, most of the time there are none, luckily this Sunday there will be a few.
