Results are up, ignore the finals results the points will be done based on qualifying.

Man that track has some grip when it's damp! Few more tweaks to the Raven and I think I can get back the 2 sec a lap advantage Brent has on me....consistency 0.97.....maybe it's reached it's limit!

Maybe I can, do you guys crank your timing right up in 2 stock? I haven't touched mine yet. How does it affect the jumps?

Thanks Nick.

I think the Raven is as good as it's going to get Nick, let it fly free.

Was good to get back to Ryde, it's been a while
Really enjoyed the new lay out ,it's a shame it rained as I was starting to get use to the layout.

Yeah I had a ball. On a side note. Bought a mini 8ight on the way home. Impulse buy from ultimate hobbies. Can't wait to throw this thing on the track. 14 scale ftw

Well done Reedy, you were very fast today.
Pretty impressive lap total considering you are running a stock motor.

It was good to race with you Brent, I am enjoying running 2wd buggy in stock and mod.

Well done Wookie, didn't get a chance to watch you drive 2wd mod because I was in it, but as a back marker.

Good to see Peli's hand must be getting better and he is driving well.

Thanks for running race control Nick and I'm impressed with Jasper's progress, he's doing 9 laps now.

Very good, though the 9.5 is a handful for me, I had a better overall time with my stock Academy.
It seems to have way more power than 8.5's I have used before.
The motor is a LRP X12 but re-badged by Tamiya (TRF Transpeed), with a 12mm rotor for more rpm but less torque.
I have geared it conservatively, FDR 8.5, but it really kicks, maybe it's the ESC, LRP SXX Competition version 1 but with all settings set to lowest.

I think the set-up of my TRF 201 needs some tweaking.

I love the Losi big bore springs but as you know from running them on your B4.1 , my ride height at the front is a couple of mm too high but the spring collar is at the very top and has nowhere to go.
I have put the front shocks on the very inner hole on the shock tower, looks like I need to put limiters inside the front shocks.

You should have a look at mine before you do that Roman, arms level with the same springs, piss off that Yankee set-up and listen to the locals; Brendan and mine are identical set up now (apart from the springs) and they handle brilliantly.

I can make the Raven go faster and handle better, the question is can I be bothered?

The BJ was handling really nice once I swapped the tyres over to the Impacts, shame it popped a ball cup in the last minute. Still I will do the chassis conversion on the DB01 this week and hopefully do some back-to-back comparisons next weekend.

Nick, I think from what you said previously, you are getting the front arms of the 201 level by adding weight in the front.
How much weight are you adding ?

Set your camber links to the manual setting first then look at weight. I only added weight to get it up to legal weight, from memory about 60gm.
