I stand corrected!

OK I've entered Pro4 so where are the rest of you? Maybe the Hyper is just a bit too intimidating for you Ranga/AE fanboys

You don't intimidate me. I just can't be bothered to turn the computer on. I wish someone would make an Alicat iPad app.

It just occurred to me, while doing the calendar for this year, why do we have two series' for the year which in effect means we have 4 series' as we run a Saturday and a Sunday series? Why not just a Saturday and a Sunday Series for the whole year? Do other clubs split their club competitions into 2 halves? It would save a lot of money to have just one series and would also be a lot easier to organise and would mean that people could drop more rounds and still be in the running for a trophy.

I'm just putting it up for discussion because maybe others can come up with some good reasons to have 2 series'. Any thoughts?

I've often pondered as much.. but thought you guys just did that way because that's how it's always been done.

I would be up for a Sat Series and a Sun series which lasted the whole year. Sounds logical to me..

Yeah I agree, especially with this erratic weather I think making it into one series will put a few more people in the race. You can say is more committment but you have more time to keep an eye on you competition and it should be for a full year anyway. Will just have to increase the number of dropped rounds.

I agree also.

One series for the whole year with 4 or even 5 dropped rounds instead of 2.
Saturday Series 2012
Sunday Series 2012

One presentation at the end of the year.

That's a great idea also at the presentation instead of 4 sets of trophys we could have 2 large sets of trophies . Not that I real have a chance though . But might save a bit of money

Just had a look at the track on my way back to the office and it is in excellent condition and will be even better by Sunday if the weather stays like this. According to BOM this morning the chance of any rain on Sunday is very low and it should be partly cloudy and about 24-26C, perfect racing conditions!

Get your entries in!

Roman where is your truck entry?

2012 Calendar is up. At this stage it includes 2 series until we get a bit more feedback on running one series.
