There is a delay between when Peli designs and makes the prototype and when AE can start selling them, setting up production and shipping from asia takes time!

Peli you should start claiming royalties.

not sure. i would think so though... john you have a tekin in your pro4 - does it run sensorless?

someone involved with AARCMCC (needed to double check i had all the acronyms in there - nice to see them keeping it simple) needs to get short course sorted out as a sanctioned class. amazing that its not done already given the uptake, manufacturer support, pro events etc.

from what i've seen, clubs that run short course are clubs growing - and vice versa.

here's an idea, ryde short course drivers could just start their own super league style breakaway competition and run our own national rc body / organisation

Yes.. I don't know of any brushless motor that wont run sensorless. Running sensored or sensorless is the primarily the function of the ESC. (Of course the motor would need sensors to for an esc to run sensored)

On a slightly different topic. Anyone running a FloTek body not use the big black decal that runs above the windshield? If you don't can I have it??

Cheers
John

seriously tho, not sure at this stage. i might run pro2 if i happen to find money that i would otherwise have put down the insinkerator for the tyres that i will never use again. my pro4 is out of action for the time being.

Nah, just for clubbies. I think you have to buy those holeshots from the National organisers?

I bought both plus tyres in my new kit. All three sets are same. Associated 9590, Pro-line 8206-02 & new WC kit tyres all have green dot and same parts number on side wall (8206). They all looks same so once you take them out of packet, there's no way of ID these tyres apart.

You don't have to buy them from the organisers. But i think you will find that it will be cheaper from them

You do however need to present the tyres at the beginning of the meeting for scruteneering.
