Chassis Protector

Hey guys,

I've seen a few guys on this forum apply 3M films to their chassis to prevent scratches etc. Could someone please tell me what film it is and where i get it from?

Cheers.

Team associate has a chassis protector. it is much better then the 3M one, it is about 20 each.

J-concepts sells it cheaper than Team Associated last time I checked was something like $10 for 2 sheets.. The backing paper has 3M on it, can't see how anything else could be better this stuff is pretty thick.

Most motorcycle shops sell it as a protective film for moto-cross bikes, I've been using it for years under my cars

I have used 3M since 2005 and have not had a ounce of problems with it. The stuff is sticky as all hell, think and does exactly what you want it to, keep the undersurface scratch free.
I get it from a Moto Shop in a motorcycle showroom on Sunnyholt Rd in Blacktown. $20 a sheet and you get 3 Xray T2's out of one sheet.
Best time to put it on is when you first get the car out of the box to build it. Easy to push on and easier to cut around the enges with a hobby blade. I also cut out all the screw holes. Anyone who has brought any previous car off me can vouch for my chassis looking new.
