Default Racing@Radical - Melbournes Newest Track opens its doors.

Finally on Wed night 17th December, Radical R/C Hobbies opens its doors to Melbournes newest 1/10th scale indoor carpet raceway.

Situated in Campbellfield the Radical track is a tight and twisty circuit that promises to reward the driver in you.

The track surface is genuine Ozite carpet as specified for World Championship Events, and is the first of its kind in Victoria.

Our first night is a 'friendly' race night for RC18R's and Tamiya Minis. Soon, 12th scales as well.

Full computer lap scoring is provided of course, and personal transponders supported.

Come along and enjoy some great racing, in a friendly atmosphere, on a super high grip carpet track.

I was more concerned about the glass in the door Greg... But Steven assures me that its 'special glass' that wont break if its hit.

Do I sense a challenge?!!

It is, but I don't think it'd be an issue. There are very few people from the West side of the city who go across to Boronia Wed night anyway.

It's just too far, and too late.

And Friday night a lot of people go to Trackside.

Kool, bit of a trek for me tho...

Will there be a class I can run my RS4 Micro in?

What are the Length x Width Dimms and also the driving-line length of the tarck (a bit hard to tell from your pics/video)

looking forward to running there.

cheers

Track looks radical, if Trackside wasn't on that night I would race there no worries.

The track is awesome for Mini's and the little RC18R's, the grip is great and the Mini's run well with the kit tyres, finally we can use them and the silver can motors .

Can't wait.

Now if I only had a mini , I'd be able to walk to the track coz I can basically see the shop from my window.........

Bag it up , sling it over the shoulder and head north for 1km..........sound like a great way to spend a Wednesday night......

Might poke my head in next week and have a look......should be interesting

Cheers

Just a quick reminder to all RC18R and Mini owners that the first Open Night/Race Night at Radical R/C's new indoor Raceway is THIS WED NITE 17th.

Bring your cars and have some fun on the awesome fully carpeted indoor track.

Please remember pits and entry is via the rear lane and racing kicks off from around 7.00!
