SMA will now clash with Ryde..soz but had to be done...hopefully will make some saturday nite meets.

I have the new JC Concepts tires on the back of my truck...transformed it bigtime...running the kit tires on the front still.

Anyone know a good sensorless 13.5???

Thats a bit of a bugger, but at least you still have St Ives, or was the move of wknds done so you can run Onroad 4 times a month??

Sensorless 13.5 hmmm, thats where you'll have issues as sensorless motors are normally Kv rated and all the brands have different Kv ratings for what they call a 13.5 equivalent.

rollout....bloody onroaders..welcome to SCT at Ryde

Andrew,i used a LRP Eraser Stock Spec 13.5 for the last year of SCT and it was geared at 26 pinion 81 spur....had to gear it that tall to get any speed out of it because it had bugger all top end....used to come off warm

now im running a Team Epic Duo 2 Dyno 13.5 and im running 22 pinion 81 spur and its truckloads faster than the LRP...comes off cool too

hope it helps, there are a few SC10's running Tekin and Novak as well, they may help with there gearing for there motors.....

i just bought a mamba max pro which im gonna throw in to fix the cogging, then play with gearing to get it pulling hard. i have a month off over xmas so ive got plenty of time to finnaly sort the sc10 race set up and get some drive time with the 4x4. i cant decide between the 4x4 and the platinum edition.. i want both!

hi Chris....the Trinity is runnning very strong mate.....VERY IMPRESSED ..no cogging issues because im running it sensored with a LRP Sphere TC Spec speedy..if u can find one of these cheap, they are a great speedy....im geared 4 teeth lower that the LRP i was running previously and its faster, revs heaps harder and runs cooler...motor timing is Zero, but the timing advance in the speedy is on the 3rd fastest setting available...

great motor mate, and i just realised that these arent Trinity's strongest motor's,theres the new versions of these Duo 2's

the new Trinity Nemesis, strongest they offer...

Bloody Onroaders, we live on rollout. Don't put me in the onroad EP crowd, I'm a nitro head .

I scored myself a LRP AI Pro and Speed Passion 13.5 today. I''l gear it conservatively to start with and then gear up.

Thanks for the help

It is an older Speed Passion, it is an "Ultra Sportsman" 13.5. Should be pretty good to start with. I am looking forward to having a race and rubbing panels (in a good way ).

In Pro 2, less power is an advantage, so I wouldn't sweat it until you try it.

at the start of the year maybe Steve, but now with huge improvements in traction( calibers, bowties and goosebumps) we can actually use more power....im loving the HP of the Trinity and have been considering going down a tooth on the pinion and winding up the motor timing a bit to get more punch out of it without loosing top end
Sean drove it for quite a few laps at the enduro and reckons going down a tooth might be worth trying for more bottom end punch...

more rear traction in the SC10 now, hell,i have even looked at the new Trinity Nemesis 13.5 motors for even more power........

Exactly... The more I looked at it, the more it looked like some Chinese attempt at making a good truck. For starters, it's a 1/10 size thing stretched out. The Slash uses Revo components squished into a compact chassis.

My Slash 4x4 is probably in the same crate as Todd's

I opted for the $120 fang'n option, as the $3 difference seemed dumb. Ordered on saturday from AMain.

Haven't seen a dispatch notice yet. I will email them later to see what the go is.
