took the sc10 and the slash to st ives today. the slash i have proline gladiators and truck wheels on it now and man it hooks up hard now... wheel stands haha. much more fun to drive with the extra traction.

the SC10 is awesome to drive now. ive done the GT2 1.5deg rear hub mod and added the proline M2 bowties and man...its hooked up. so easy to drive now. im running the 5700 in it still with the EPA set to 70% and its perfect. ive got all the hop ups for it and full set of front and rear springs too to play around and see what works.

i need some advice from some of you more experienced racers though.. the car has a bit of push into corners, understeering, and im having to brake hard to whip it into a slide to get around some.. im running the stock tyres on the front which i will soon change to bowties but i was wondering what i can do set up wise to improve steering... shorter wheelbase, weight, springs, castor, toe, camber etc... what works???

good to see you have yor sc10 finished muzza...thats 3 regulars with them, plus Chris if he ever shows up...and another fella i was talking too ordered his after watching mine the previous weekend....thats 4- 5 sc10s on track with the slash's...plus shanes when he gets it...

as for the understeer chris...i found when i was running the switches on the rear and the stock sc10 tyres on the front it turned in well, with a bit of understeer, but it never felt consistent, like the grip levels werent balanced totally front to rear......as soon as i took the sc10 tyres of the front, and put switches on the front, the truck felt more balanced front to rear and more consistent.....dont change anything till u get the bowties on the front....

Traxxas Slash spec class racing at Ryde in 2009 and beyond-hardcore311.jpg

Dammit, someone stole my wheels... must be living next to Redfern

Pictured next to me prototype crawler, good at climbing 7 foot fences, but yet to figure out the right frequency to control it

So is that for a Slash or a SC10??

Looking good Shane, we might have to look at splitting the CORR field with all the trucks there are now.
I'm up for a stock class and a Pro class, that way i can run both of mine

LOL.

They have a busy 2 months ahead

Interesting, this is a quote form one of the guys from that thread:

"This is what I heard.

Have no way to confirm this.

It will be 2WD and much longer than the Traxxas and Associated trucks.

Losi was asked to be a part of the specification portion of the ROAR rules, as it was known their entry was in development. The never replied to the requests for participation. Then, when the rules were complete, they threw a fit.

I guess we'll know soon enough. "
