thanks muzza...i had the shakes on the driversstand in the last few laps, cause i new i had to screw it up somewherebut i managed to get to the end...2 heat wins in the last two races at ryde and ives...maybe im learning how to drive....
sc10 did it easy in the first heat, but i struggled in the wet,and once ian passed me,i had too push too hard to catch him.....must say thanks to Dave,he kept reminding me to be smoother in my driving instead of just flogging it....his constant reminders in the last few months have sunk in,and i slowed for second rather than pushing it and stacking it

pity it was wet,was really looking forward to the next few CORR races and finals....really was enjoying racing today, heaps of people there, damn my T4 for not wanting to play.......wish i could make it for ives with open slash with muzza, but yep, i will be crawling....

Well here you go, they resemble no other bow-tie I've ever seen. I used a tape measure as a reference for the tread size.

All I have to do now is wait another week for the wheels to turn up to mount them on. Hmmmm, do I run them on the Slash or the SC10...or both

Hiya, I got that set direct from Proline, and I've got another set on the way from A Main Hobbies along with an SC10 and various bits and pieces.
I'm modding my slash with 1/8 buggy wheels and an 8.5 turn motor running a 3S lipo 4000kv x 11.1v = speed!!

One of you guys is missing this Traxxas Slash spec class racing at Ryde in 2009 and beyond-dsc_0706.jpg, it is apparently an antenna mount from a Slash, I found it near the race directors table on Sunday. Let me know whose it is so I can get it back to them. I know how frustating it can be to lose a small part like this and have to wait for weeks to get a replacement!!

not mine

just been reading a few reviews on the bowties Muzza and Chris, the yanks reckon they hookup better than the goosebumps and nearly as good as a 1/8th buggy tyre, look like they could be a real good thing....cant wait for shane to get his first shipment of them

we have been asked to run a exhibition class at the Club Challenge round at ryde thats coming up..seeing as there will be a huge amount of spectators,it will be a good oppurtunity to show them what CORR racing is all about

whos up for it,im in

I can have mine there but I wont be racing it as I'm running 2 vehicles that day anyway. When are they going to find time i wonder, St Ives was a flat out day all day.

We were thinking a 7 min race at the lunch break, or if there isn't a lunch break then maybe before the finals start.
