...like the AU comparison
Thats the risk isnt it,that it comes out of the toy shop, and not the 1/8th race department.

Im more inclined to believe the 1/8th department engineers are designing them...Losi faithful can only hope and pray

To clear up, I mean Ford Australia, not the AU Falcon... and their big plan to push the Mondeo/Taurus platform here again instead of the Falcon.

Now it makes more sense

Fwd POS...even i feel sorry for the Ford fans, the current Falcon, and the BA range mostly is a great looking, well engineered car....the Yanks should be buying the Falcon, and renaming it Taurus for there market....

Ford Aus have Ford's best engineers at RWD/large car dynamics

Stupid beancounters have got no idea.....Ford Aus should be getting paid to re-engineer the Ford global RWD/AWD chassis for use in Mustang,Taurus/Mondeo/Falcon and small F Series and SUV's

If its chassis/drivetrain is modular, and the engine bay is designed for V8 size, any motor will fit,so its applicable for use in any world market for a variety of vechiles, running on a variety of fuels

Some more SCT Pro4 porn for the Losi fans....

Now,some clearer info has come out....well sortoff,but it appears the Pro4 is truck based....of Losi's Ten-T...

Another sneak peek of the underneath showing the Ten-T chassis plate......
It is a prototype though,so things may change during development, they may not...

I think there also running Losi's new SCT tyres too...the Digits maybe?

Hi Peli,

it's just a SC10 kit, the FT to my knowledge hasn't been released yet.
I was waiting to get one of those, but gave up on waiting.

I like the General lee paint job too, turned out really well and wasn't too hard to mask up. All thanks go to Shan as he painted it all for me while I was still building the kit.

Well that'll be where the advantage was, running tires no one else has! Also looking at that pic it confirms what I saw in the video, running really low chassis height and jack all droop.

BTW Peli my toe blocks have arrived

Hate to say it Mr Percival but the next time you see me at a Saturday meet I will be driving a .........................................Porsche!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah, just kidding it'll be a Camry! But I suppose it's free and I did see a couple of Mercs in the car park when I went in the other day, so there's hope for the future.

I would love a new Team Associated Factory Team SC10 to replace my beat up RTR, but there are too many new RC kits and too little time and money.

The Associated V2 shocks look good.

Just wanted to remind everybody that this Sunday is the Interclub Shield where 12 of our members are going to battle it out with four other teams for the title of best RC club. So if you want to come along and watch and cheer for our team, they would appreciate the support. I have included details of the event below so you know what it is all about. The event will take place at the St. Ives RC car track, a photo of this recently resurfaced and excellent looking track is included below.

The NSW Interclub Shield - July 25th 2010

The 2010 Interclub Shield is a team competition for 1/10th Electric Offroad Buggys and Trucks.
2 Drivers from each class will be selected by each Club to compete in a one-off, 6 race competition.
Points will be accumulated in each race, and the Club with the most points at the end of the day will take home the Title and Trophy.
There will be 4 NSW Clubs + a Barbarians (compilation) team, with a team captain for each team. Each team is to consist of 12 nominated drivers + 2 reserves. The reserves role will be assisting with marshalling, mechanical, and reserve driver should it be needed.
Castle Hill
Maitland
Ryde
St. Ives
Barbarians
(combination of smaller clubs, interstate, and best of the rest)
Entry will be $120 per team ($10 per driver)
(funds will go toward ‘The Shield’ and the host club).
There will be 6 Classes,
2WD – Stock & Mod
Truck – Stock & Mod
4WD – Stock & Mod
It will be a one day event on a Sunday starting at around 10am.
AARCMCC rules will apply.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
FORMAT - There will be 6 x 6 minute races in a round on a rotating grid. ie. Team 1 front row, team 2 second row, team 3 third row etc. for the first race. For Race 2, team 1 will go to the back, and everyone else will move forward. Rotates over the 5 races so everyone has a start from all rows. The start order will be drawn from a hat on the day. Points will be allocated for 1st through 8th. 10 points for 1st, 8 for second, 6 for third, then 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
TIME - There will be 6 x 6 minute races a in round with 5 minutes between races (total 1hr). 5 rounds equals around 5 hours. 10am start should finish around 3pm with presentation after that. All races will be Grid Starts.
