Hi Jason....u have come to the right place for a offroad race class......SCT at Ryde is huge, and our Pro 2 13.5 class is the best for cheap, competitive racing...

There 2wd,13.5 brushless powered and can use any SCT tyre...that in itself makes it spec virtually......Its great racing, plenty off fellas on here will agree

As for truck, what brand are is yor fave?....we have most trucks racing, heaps of SC10's,a few Slash's left,a few Blitz's starting to show up,a Losi Strike, plus the new Kyosho Ultima's coming soon...

Great days racing today guys, felt like timed practise against yor mates instead of racing...casual as

Well done Tony "SuperStar" Spinnolla...won yor first round bud, didnt take you long. You were driving real good....had to put the raceface on to stay with you

Dales Srike with the Mr T bobblehead doll in it was classic.....in pics,it looked like Chef from South Park was driving his truck

Track was great today, heaps of traction, and fast

Speaking of.... There is talk that Losi are pulling the Strike's pin. Horizon are offloading RTR's for $160 and the bind and drives for $120 USD at the moment.

Thanks Peli, much appreciated. I also found out the meaning of your nickname lol, good and fast racing with ya man.

Was heaps dusty towards the end with a couple moths thrown in lol. Plus we had a LEd'ed SC10 and a Strike with Mr.T at the wheel, funny as lol.

Another new tyre from Proline, the Trencher SC

I reckon, if you can keep out of the marbles, these would scream around Ryde.

Apparently it is not ROAR legal as it is too long and too wide.

Have a read through the Losi forums.

Are Horizon Hobbies not making the Losi Strike anymore ?

I wonder if they will release a ROAR legal SC truck in the future. . . ?

It all seems a bit weird. There have been a few complaints regarding quality as well, but you cannot really read that much into it. Forums tend to exaggerate the thruth and the price from Horizon is also on the Losi site as well.

If you are after a backyard basher, it is a very good price.

That is correct (about ROAR illegibility). The wheelbase is too long. However, I'm not sure if it is for Ryde rules.

It appears to be rumoured. They had rocks in their heads not doing a XXXT based SCT anyway... But, I guess now that they are Chinese made, they want to base all their new products on the metric cheapy platform (High Roller, Slider) rather than encourage sales of the old American designed stuff.

i thought it was the rear bumper length that put it out of spec...not the WB,but overall length..?...may be wrong

idiots, what were they thinking......wonder how long before we see a XXX SC factory truck........i hope they get a trcukload of complaints, and lots of customers wanting there money back after the whole Strike debacle..they deserve to get reamed
