In all seriousness, it seems to me that CORR racing is different to all off road racing as there should be a sense of realism but given the competative nature of humans this sometimes clashes,
It's a sliding scale and where you sit on that scale reflects your personality,
personaly I like stock, cause I'm a crap driver so there is only a lap or two from me to no.1 position, if I were in mod it'd be 3-4 laps and I'd cry
Said toooo much on a subject I know nothing about
promise it wont happen again, or until the next bottle.
P.s probablyy my longest post ever!!!

yeah, but u make sensible points Steve...cant believe in saying that about a pissed pom........GO GEEZER

i to love the scale aspect of these trucks, plus the perform pretty well.....i cant wait to get my hands on a HYPER 10 SC eventually, and regardless of the rules being set,u WONT see 1/8th wheels on mine...EVER...

unless they are allowed and i keep getting my ass handed to me by guys runing 1/8th combo's,but even then,i still think a SCT tyre will stay on my truck, the competitve side in me will just find a way to make my truck work with normal SCT tyres...

if u get one guys, they NEED the alloy front bulkhead, there is so much flex in the plastic one that the shocks flex back and snap the turnbuckles..this is a MUST HAVE part...Dale just got his...Also,probably get a Spare set of the plastic GBOX gears..the steel/alloy idler in them has been dying in them,so guys put the LOSI SLIDERS plastic idler in them to be a bit more reliable

other than that, they handle pretty good, way better than slash, almost as good as a SC10...and the Strike is stock out of the box...just ditch the rear tyres, really horrible and replace with tyre of choice....really wakes the truck up with some traction in the rear

Have u fellas looked at the new Venom SCX truck...pretty cool

Nice try Steveo, but You can't retract someone else's opinion.
Sorry, I'll keep my opinions to my self in the future. Like I said just my opinion, same one that stops me racing SCT, I think it is becoming too washed out with mods. Wish I could have been there on the Sunday to watch all the races, could only make it for the last hour to see how the meet we rescued from council went.

By the way I thought I was approaching the topic in a "polite and sensible manner". I thought an analogy was a fair way to express a concern about an issue that is going to affect people who race at our club and people who want to enter into the hobby through our club.

Sorry if you took offence at my post, it was never meant as a dig at you personally, perhaps Mr Traxxas could take some offense though. I just wanted to get some debate on the subject as we are having a committee meeting tomorrow night where this issue is one of the topics to be decided and I wanted you guys to hear my opinion on the issue and hear the counter arguments back so I am better informed.

Sorry again and I hope I don't have to make the deciding vote tomorrow night.

Nick

how much,how much,how much PMPB

the only mods in 13.5 SCT Nick are the motor. How is that washed out mate, other classes get to pick there tyres, wheels and shells, even Junior, but we are deemed to be washed out because we want too choose too........thats backwards

unless yor referring too the new Pro4 discussions and there Mods?

come run 13.5,it is cool fun,u will enjoy it,plus they are tough, not as much fixing them champ...

i have a spare SC10,should put it together with my old 13.5 and some decent tyres all round, suspension setup and the shell i have and bring it for some of you fellas that race other classes too try on race day in the heat of battle...just need yor Radio, and yor ESC to use in it....
