plenty of jumps and a great layout.

when the red clay drys out it marbles up and is loose

when it is moist and watered every 2 rounds like the last Challenge Cup round there it is superb. blue groove, grip and great to drive on.

I think the guys are trying to make sure there is a water tanker available for the Nats so they can get the moisture in the clay

From the discussions I've had with the Canberra crew, water will be critical, especially given the temp at that time of year and the punishment the track will get in practice.

Personally, I'd be more than happy to pay a 'water surcharge' on the entry fee to ensure a good track to race. After all, what's the point of spending $1,000+ and five days to race on a blown out dust bowl?

Cheers,
Scotty P.

Do they have town water, taps there? Or do they rely on tankers?

By the way Scott, are u running mod, or woosing out in super stock? 2wd.
I got the X-6 kit for my car too, felt good on a hell rough maitland track a couple of days ago.

No tap water there. Even if there was our current water resrictions would prevent them from using it

well lads I argee I have bit the bullet and bought tickets to come over and race. I would be happy to pay a surcharge for water to get the track in tip top shape....

Hi Guys,

how do control tyres work in offroad? The rules say we don't need to buy them from the club but how many sets can we have?

Do we need to assemple them at scrutineering at the meeting or can we put everything togeather before we arrive?

Thanks.

Mark

no limit and don't have to buy them from the club unless specifically stated in event rules.
