Default 17.5t brushless where to buy?

Ok guys I am looking for a 17.5t brushless novak motor for this weekend and am wondering if anyone knows who stocks them in melbourne? Been to hobbyman and they have no 17.5's of any make. Help please

Buggered if I could find anything on the modelflight site, so +1 on harris, order with him tonight, he express posts it the next morning. Can't ask for more than that. Probably the most reliable store I have dealt with in Australia, online by far!

Yeah i have already ordered one from harris.....Its pretty pisspoor that not one store i called in melbourne had any 17.5t brushless in stock let alone the one that I wanted. Stock category is by far the most popular here and to not have the motor that they are using is just silly. Its no wonder these places go out of business or ppl like me order from os. Support your local hobbyshop...pfft how can i when they constantly have to order something in and you wait 2-3 weeks to pay double and sometimes triple the price. Harris were a pleasure to deal with and would happily recommend them

Yes it is silly but its hard when ORRCA change there rules every 2 months. for 2009 it looks like stock will use 17.5 motors for both on road and off road. This will make it easier to stock these items.

Cheers

Oh I failed to mention that one store in melbs did end up having a 17.5t motor. But they wanted me to pay a $40 premium over the exact same motor in 13.5t. Another store that I went to had the same novak brushless system that I purchased but they wanted $545 for it. Absolute madness I say and the funnt thing was they reckon that the price was marked down from $745..lmao

That is an awesome story, i guess with 17.5 being only just accepted as the official brushless stock motor and having also just been ratified by ORCCA Vic, the stores might not have them yet, but to ask $40 more for the same motor of different wind is ludicrous, unless the 13.5 was discounted, how much were they asking for the motors if they thought a $40 premium on the 17.5 was justifiable

I think it is more of a case that the 13.5t are pretty much useless as they are only legal in super stock which is only run @ state/national titles. I mean sure you could run it in mod but you would get ur ass kicked.
