rc racing on tv!
ok i'm not a fan of waking up early, and i definately despise doing it on saturdays... but whilst surfing i just saw this on the http://www.pdnracing.org.au/ website. direct copy and paste;
PDNR TELEVISION...
On Tuesday September 2, PDNR had a visit from Saturday Morning Disney who filmed a story about RC racing. The story is planned to air on October 11, between 8:00 and 8:30 am. Be sure to have a look and try and spot yourself! A full write up on the night is on the way so stay tuned....
keep rolling keep up the good work...any updates on the permanent track?
ps : "Ende's Tip: Drivers need to be aware of when their race will start, as we are temporarily not using the PA system to minimise noise".
minimise noise???!! are you for real? they race in a car park, at night, next to a freeway, which has the nearest house 4 km's away and the only sign of human life is the person in the shell servo attending customers??? noise!!? so who hears it?? pfft the possums?

we have had complaints from people in south penrith (other side of the freeway) saying that the cars, generator and PA are toooooo loud. the noise bounces off the building next to us over the freeway. dont forget, at that time of the night, there are hardly any cars on the freeway. we are working on a deal with penrith lakes to use the car park that the control line planes use which is next to the lake the RC boat club use. i'll post more when i know more.
