Sounds a little on the hot side....

Have you put an o'donnell 97t (medium) plug in yet?

Make sure you have half the front window cut out on your shell?

Could be too lean a tune for the standard hot plug or most unlikely an air leak somewhere.

Any ideas Kym?

Is there any practice days? I have visited the track and I'd like to try it out. Just moved up from the Gold Coast. Only raced one meeting (the GC council removed it) so I'm still new at this.

its getting a bit warm and yes the 97t is the best plug just be sure you have good smoke, just richen it up a little and see if you lose performance and from there you can find a good tune but dont go off temperature just use it as a rough guide the big engines can run well at around 110c-120c(230f-250f)
cheers

Yeah what they said.

It does sound a little hot, but remember every engine is different, aswell as every temp gauge can read different. If the motor performs well, has good smoke with no lean bogging, you'll be fine. I'll have a look and listen on sunday to see how it is.

Cheers

The Gold Coast Offroad and Onroad tracks were at Worongary. I think electric onroad is only available now. Too many complaints. I've be told the new offroad track is somewhere in Pimpama (Between Brisbane and GC)

Cheers

The Hot plug they come with is ok for break-in, but once putting on a race tune, you will be much better off with a medium plug in our conditions here. I've got a couple, so I could sell you one if you need.

Will be in Phoenix Hobbies Friday arvo, or see you at the track sunday

Cheers
