Default OFFROAD WORKING BEE 6TH JULY 2013

Hi Guys,

Working bee this Saturday, couple of jobs to do which includes replacing the flooring on the drivers stand ramp with steel walkway mesh, also moving the drives stand shade cloth across and fitting a vinyl tarp at the race control end.

If you could spare some time it would be much appreciated, 10am start many hands make light work.

Hope to see you there.

HOLY CRAP there is some funny shit on these forums!

this was a guy asking about compressors when given a link.

Do these things need maintenance? The tank will eventually run out right? How do you fill it back up? Any info on these compressor greatly appreciated ! Iknow nothing about them but if it makes cleaning my buggy easier then I'm interested !

enjoy!

Hi Guys,

Not long to go before the event, be sure to have your entry forms in and early bird payment made, late payments will be hit with a $20 fee per class.

Remember there is a 15 car limit for electric classes, be sure to nominate and pay to secure your entry (first 15 "paid" entrants will be accepted in these classes)

Hi all,
Just wanted to thank everyone for a great weekend. I had a ball and enjoyed some of the best racing I've had in my relatively short time in the hobby. It certainly is a great track and can't wait for the next event up there.

Default Cairns Cup

Thanks to Cairns club for a great weekend. The weather was great the racing was the best I've had this year and the track held up well. I need to engineer a better aero package to keep off the back fence during wind gusts. Maybe a tall hedge like you see along the roads in New Zealand would help? I nailed all my starts, except for the one where I tried to drive Phil's car!! Now all I have to improve is the middle bits and the fast finish.Hope to see you all at the Townsville Cup in October.
regards
Col Williams

Default Racing this Sunday

Hi guys,
Im new to the rc scene and was hoping I could have a try at racing this weekend. I don't know how long the body will hold out so it might be a short day. I was hoping there might be some shade I could pit under.
Oh yeh I,m going to be busting out the vintage mugen truggy.

Its cheaper for a reason.
Another tip you may hear is avoid the "M" suburb's.
I have lived in a couple of them tho and they aren't that bad.
