Thanks to all the Cairns club members for excellent 2 day weekend of RC racing.

The on-road meet was awesome. EP Touring car was close racing, 4 guys doing flat 14sec (I think it was 14) lap after lap. Had a great time. The only low point of the day for me was leading the final main F1 race and then pulling over giving it up to Dan for the win as I had to answer my mobile phone, bet you’ve never seen that before.

Also thanks to the guys/gals out at the off-road track for an excellent race day in EP/nitro off-road. You guys are so consistent in your lap times. Enjoyed my first race meet back with nitro buggy and also enjoyed EP buggy for my first time.

Talking Re: Racing this weekend

So, it's going to be a pity that I won't be there this weekend, to thrash The Cheese, with the Eco . Going down to Surfers to check out some boats. And no, that doesn't mean I'm joining Ted. I'll probably die with a transmitter in my hands. Going to check out Meakin Park while I'm down there, see what the track looks like for the Proline series. Anyone who wants to have a run against the likes of Drake, should get their asses down there. It has a 150 competitor ceiling and its filling fast.
Looking forwards to getting the onroad repaired and racing. I've had two meets and haven't finished one yet! You'd think breakages wouldn't happen with onroad more than offroad. Maybe the Cheese will bring his onroad down as well.

Default Truggy vid

Guys a little bit of video of the truggies racing the other weekend (sorry only 2min worth).

Not edited. Low qual. I tried my hardest to film but I was marshelling the triples and was non stop chasing crashes. I'll set video camera up on a tripod next time and leave it running.
