MECA points question
 

How does this point system work?

is there prizes for winning with most points? for all classes? 1st, 2nd and 3rd?

please explain.

also on meca, where can i go to see results of qualifying from meca 3?
as in driver - car- engine etc

There is no listing for this anywhere, Eastern Creek now has this listed in the data base and is listing in all race results now, but I think that's the only club that does it.

As for MECA points it's simple 4 rounds and drop your worst round. A point for each position. So if you want to give 1st 1 point 2nd 2 and so on or 1st 100 points 2nd 99 points and so on it makes no difference.

As for prizes for winning the series well I would think there would be for sure as it is a series and will be presented at the final round.

is it just 1st place? or 1, 2, 3? etc. and is it for every class?

I really don't know but would say it would be 1st 2nd and 3rd.

With the listing you can do to www.sormcc.org for electric listing for points for MECA counted on the best two so far. And I have included the car model. But I don't know the guys well enough for Gas to do it.

Hopefully we will get trophies for 1/12 scale this round of MECA but I can't hold my breathe.
