SUPPORT TROY CRITCHLEY

“NO GOOD DEED GOES UNDONE”

For those who don’t know Troy Critchley was involved in a charity demonstration drive in Tennessee, USA. He is an Australian man who has competed in the USA for years in professional drag racing-never ever having caused an accident.

Because of how good he is at what he does, many supporters turned up to see him. The supporters were instructed by the police to stand on the sides of the roads. There were no barricades etc put in place. The ground was wet by the fire department.

The drive went horribly wrong, one tyre of his vehicle malfunctioned sending it out of control into the crowd where six bystanders were killed, and another 22 were injured.

You can imagine what that did to the town. You can even understand their need to find a scapegoat. But, for some in Selmer, it's personal. They want to see Troy Critchley suffer - to spend the rest of his life in jail and pay millions of dollars in compensation even though he was there on the day as a guest to help a charity raise money.

If you feel that he shouldn’t be put in jail for the rest of his life please sign this petition.

Thanks for posting this link, There is no way that Troy is responsible for this accident . What he's been through already is surely punishment enough

I saw this on the news. Youd think the organisers of the event would put up safety barriers between the road and spectators The way i see it yes he was driving the car but he shouldnt be held responsible for it, the organisers of the event should be blamed.

Yup... its a farce... no doubt about it.

And to make things worse, he is on charges of Homocide, and aggrivated assault.

go figure???...

I certainly feel for the bloke, and as is said on the Team Bray website, the Australian Government NEEDS to get behind him. They offer their support to convicted drug traffickers right???
