M8 is the go. Kenji Osaka can't be wrong or anyone of the top world drivers. I've had an M8 for about a year now and I think it's the best bit of gear I've ever bought.

3PK

I've been using a JR R1 but I've just got a 3PK.

It seems to be the best around at present.

You couldn't ask for anymore features and it all seems pretty clear to operate.

3pk comes with the S9451 but allot are using the S9550 as they are half height and lighter in weight for much the same speed and torque.

Default KO Helios

No one has mentioned the new KO EX10 Helios. Does anyone have one yet? Keen to get feedback as it's on my radar.

Yes i too would like to here about the performance of this system. It features advanced hsr like the 3pk so should come down to what you like. pity they don't have the same huge screen but atleast it has gone from 2 lines to 4 lines. jog dial should also be cool.

if you can cope with the "style" the ko should be good, they are quoting a very fast frame rate (30% quicker than the mars r which is the same as the 3pk) it has a tiny rx even by ko standards but does it only work with the "HRS" digital servos they have released with it?

did anyone notice the increase in speed form the 3pj to 3pk hrs or mars to mars r???? or is superdooper high warp speed transmission reception systems (SHWSTRS) something else to goad us? i cant say that noticed much difference between the mars and mars r (or with the mars r and a non "301" rx)

i just had my first run (in the street) with the 3pk HRS and can honestly say i didnt notice any differance in the speed of the servo Futaba S9550) from when it was connected to my old trustly XR3 radio
now i only have to work out all the bells and whistles on the 3PK

I don't think any one person can say one is better than the other because I don't think any one person has used the 3pk the m8 and the KO. Most people have tryed one and loved it, mainly because that have updated to a better radio which is better, of course.

I love my 3PK and can't ask any more from it apart from driving the car itself, that would be good.

And HRS is heapsssssss quicker than the norm, I don't see how you can't see or feel the difference unless you have not turned on the HRS mode yet, which you need to do. Just a thought, maybe check it out.

Coxy.

comparing the 3pkchewinggum with the mars is it WAAAAAY better?

i'm considering maybe upgrading to the R mars due to the fact that i know how to navigate it, like the size etc and price.

is the high response worth selling my old mars for?

maybe someone can do a review or a comparo of the 3pk with their old radio for RCUNDERGROUND.NET? some of you guys moved from the jr "topOdaline" model to the pk model right?
