Default Battery approval dates

Hi.
Just a quick, but important question, in which month were the 4200 & 4300 cells approved?
because the last list update that i can find is on the current ARRMCC site was Jan 006. no 4200 or 4300 were mentioned.
The October list says they are allowed, but in the rules it states that the new cells cannot be used at an ARRMCC sanctioned event until 3months after approval by ARRMCC.

Hi Mike, from what I can gather they were on the July 06 list - see attached.

All were approved as of the 1st of July. There is no difference between the cells listed. The October 06 rule set is in force and contains clarifications to rules and motor approvals.

wow. here i was complaining on the wrong thread. Now i have read all about AARCMCC in last few years, i still see a patern of people like me complaining about whats what and whats not. I agree the rules will always have to vary from club to club for individual reasons, but all i would like to see happen for 2007 at any big event/s is plenty of advertisment (WE WANT THE SPORT TO GROW DONT WE?) (keep up the good work admin) and a LIST OR RULES FOR THAT EVENT, that would genrally reflect of AARCMCC. Released well before the event with an email so that any unhappy or confused racers could question.
(basicly what now happens any way!)
So i thank the older rc racers, U all deserve a pat on the back for keeping it all happening, without u guys we'd be lost. I'd try to push MORE BIGGER SPONSERED EVENTS, Show AUS a year of "champions" that deserve the reckonition from years of racing. we dont want to bitch about rules we want to RACE! and BIG EVENTS. it doesnt have to be a nats just to get some hype does it? what about a HUGE 1/12 meet for 2007, com on guys.!

Ice,
Thanks for the encouragement, it is hard to keep abreast of things at times, especially when the sport can have changes that happen just outside of a major meeting as we have seen this year. Some people do forget that we do this on a volenteer basis and do have work and family to consider in our lives.

3.2.3 All closed cockpit cars must have transparent windshields and/or side windows and/or rear windows. (eg. Internal detail to be clearly visible when on track situation) Open or opaque windshields and/or side windows and/or rear windows are not allowed.

I think it pretty well says it all, if the detail, either chassis or interior can not be easily seen, its not legal.
