most people say that the d4 is hard to get parts for ,but my local hobby shop said that it easy to get parts for and i trust that statement because 'mr rc center' wouldnt make stuff like that up, and i want to stay loyal to the mildura rc center by buying my stuff from them and they have trouble getting parts for the associated b44 quickly
thanks

Personaly i like diversity on the race track. If everyone owned a B44 ( most do) it would get very boring. I think anyone can turn up with any of the cars on offer now days and do well with it. Its just down to spending a little time ironing out all the bugs and puting together a car that works. Personaly I run a Tamiya 501X and Im sticking with it. I dont care whether Im winning enough, Im happy with the car and thats enough for me. The day you play 'keeping up with the Jones's' is the day it begins to get a little boring. Go the D4 buddy!

Fos,
I've seen you use metric wrenches on an Associated diff bolt, you may as well go the Hotbodies. On the other hand Gids is mega fast with the ZX5......
B44 though, parts interchangeability with the B4 and numbers running them make chances of getting a part trackside rather good. Not that I'm saying the HB is bad......
Oh, B44 won the Worlds, the Nats and Knox clubby today.

FOS, last year I ran the ZX5 and a B4. After about 4 months I was over buying tyres for each car as the rear rims couldn't be used on both cars. Atleast with the B44 you can wear out your tyres that might not be working so good on your B4. [club days- practice etc]
Champ at the end of the day its your decision [or ya mums if she's paying?]

Slipper pads, spur, shock caps what else?
Parts track side might be possible but from the Aust distributor not a chance

Rear arms partly right 44 onto 4 ok but not 4 onto 44 unless you don't want to use the sway bar Didn't realise B4 fr rims went on the 44 thanks for the heads up
Harris might just a pitty the teams appointed importer doesn't.
Stay well buddy.
