The Vic titles will be the first time we get to compete with the new J82 conversions from JConcepts.

"JConcepts introduces a revolutionary new vehicle concept, the J82. The J82 is the buggy of your dreams, combining the drivability of a 1/10th truck with the fascination of a buggy. The JConcepts J82 is a conversion kit for the Associated RC10T4 vehicle. With this conversion, a driver can now compete in two classes using just one vehicle".

The conversion kits will be available through the RC Centre

YES

Very excited about this event folks as the Mildura crew always put on a good show or should I say a big show. Hope to see some pics of the new layout on the thread which will help generate some more interest. Also when will the entry forms be available.
From what I have heard lipo's will be legal for mod use only. Can Orrca Vic clarify this please.

Thanks and see you all there.

Mildura - woo hoo!

What motor is going to be used for the J8-2 class - both 19T Brushed and 10.5T Brushless as per rules on the JConcepts website?

Is Lipo going to be allowed in all classes?

Stayed tuned for LiPo (Modified class) and BL stock.....

tetsuo 06-10-2008 07:02 PM

Neil, you are racing the J8-2 - what motor are you using?
What will be allowed?

The Fuhrer 06-10-2008 07:20 PM

From what I'm led to believe, the J-82 is a Demo class.......

Obviously...

But there still needs to be uniformity with the motors.

Controlled motor Fantom 5.5 brushless!!!:sneaky: hehe

I will confirm with a few people how we should run this class, I would expect it will be modified motors and open tire as it is a demo and we should be having fun showing off what these cars car do. It will partly depend on the number of enteries/interest too. Who knows we might have mod and stock J82 classes
