Fantastic!!

Next time I come to Adelaide (which is reasonably frequently for work) I'll bring a car or two.

Will you have some jumps etc for the buggies, or is the plan for "flat track" racing?

Good luck with the new club!

2nd and 4th Saturdays would make for a busy weekend with Littlehampton running 2nd and 4th Sundays.

Might come with my 12th scale though. I'll have to see how things pan out. Maybe you might want to consider 19 turn motors for 12th scale?

Why not try and make it 1st and 3rd for this new club seeing as nothing is definite yet. Then all the die hards out there could race every weekend. Communication is the key and even though im a newb I am out that way every few weekends as the missus' mum lives out there. Good excuse to get out of being couped up with her family all evening

What timing system will you be running? Will it be AMBrc so we can use our personal transponders?

My opinion on classes is that you should run the following:

Tamiya mini
Novice (with 540 motors only)
540
27 turn Stock (and 17.5 brushless from 1 July)
19 turn Super Stock (and 10.5 brushless from 1 July)
Mod (if the track is big enough)
12th scale (maybe as I suggested with a 19 turn motor limit)
Drift

Buggies on asphalt is not such a good idea as off road tyres are very soft and don't last long on asphalt.

Is this in the rec centre where they fly the ultralight rc planes and choppers?
What are you proposing regards timing/lap counting etc?
All the best to get it going. I'll have a go there.Nice and close to home.

I would go with 1st and 3rd, there are a lot of people that use to race those nights and have made there calender around those nights, sounds nice though, hope a lot of people support it.
