Whoever called it, well done. It was a hoax after all:

I am partial to both mate. I wont discriminate. Like the IB Cells which go really hard my experience is a hungry supermodel goes like an IB.... they go off like a firecracker

Well that was proven to be a hoax

But I love the comment on IB Cells Classic!

Who cares? I can still show you a packet of the same size or smaller do the destruction you question. (but I'm not going to)

My point, size does NOT matter. There are equations that result in an explosion of a given size with a variety of compositions.

DO NOT GET COMPLACENT BECAUSE YOU THINK HOW CAN THIS LITTLE THING DO DAMAGE?

Please remember this: - Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups.

Rant over.

i know, but we're talking about a standard sized mobile fone battery and that WONT do that sort of damage.

easily some mining explosive/component such as a detonator, yet small is still very powerful.

unless there are mining detonators in ur mobile fone pretending to be mobile fone batteries, there is nothing to worry about

George, you are so far out of you league on this one.

How many sparkies on this forum? How many plumbers? Business mangers, physicists, mechanics?

How many shotfirers?

This isn't a topic you can have an opinion on without some form of knowledge OR at least EXPERIENCE. Back in your Box.

Yes I'm being carefull, Corey is watching, He might get worksafe onto me for doing a dangerous job.

from experience by stupidity and fun, i havent been able to get a fone battery to explode with a massive BANG.

it did how ever smoke alot, get HOT and then the back of the fone case blew up and it just smouldered.

from the observations i made, it would of hurt you and left you with a nice burn, but death seems nearly impossible.

to inflict serious damage on internal organs with a fone battery seems very difficult yet is easy to do in some situations. theres a reason you never sit sideways in a car. if the car brakes extremely hard, eg a crash, the organs will get ripped from the veins n all. so when you thrown forwards and hit the back seat u will stop, but your heart will continue until it hits the rib cage. its about stopping distance. when sitting forward there is not much room for the heart n organs to move forward until they stop and hit ur rib cage unlike sideways where it will just travel from the left side to the right side. nasty stuff internal bleeding is

lol, anyways, i'll let the pro's work this one out

George from someone who used to earn a living as a phone tech. It CAN happen I have seen a Nokia BL-5C Battery blow itself to shit, and yeah, if that was in your shirt pocket it'd f... you up nicely.

110% behind Clippy on this one!

At the end of the day ANY Battery be it in a phone, RC or whatever needs to be handled with care and treated properly.

Could a phone battery explosion kill someone? Unlikely, but possible, so yes it could.

You don't know shit about this topic, so back in your little cage.

Pffft. I'm not going to to argue my profession with a teenager just out of school.

Enjoy your "stupidity" and "fun".
