The exchange rate is really bad for my wallet. The better it gets, the more I buy. :lol:

i predict oil will go up after the USA announce they have a large oil stash (they stole it from iraq, DUH) and then sell it to china or russia for billions as it will be the only oil left after the peak oil crisis.

also October is usually the BAD MONTH for shares, and this month they have done GREAT, as i predicted. shares went down in 2003 as the was a nuclear threat by that korean guy and all the troops headed into iraq for an invasion.

FACTS

and i'd be watching BHP, they went up $1.10 today, but went down alot yesterday. something tells me sell shortly as they are prolly gonna hit the ditch.

also WPL went up $0.40 which is pretty good so its worth keeping an eye on them. last time they went up and up then a big drop. i reckon the same will happen again.

Here was I thinking Project Blueprint was coming to R/C - that's what I think of when the word parity is mentioned, as well as Larko and Crompo going on about it.

But I see it's about the dollar. Good for importers, not so good for exporters, especially Aussie beef, wheat, etc...

Oil wont run out, it will just become so costly that demand will decline. That's peak oil

I hope the dollar keeps climbing, it'll mean we can order from HK stores without losing out in the conversion to US:sweat:

high dollar means bad for exports ay, and also means we as an economy aren't exporting right?:confused:

so what you think the fed has a loosening bias and the RBA has a tightening bias hence the margin between US and AUD interest rates will blow out making the carry trade more attractive and hence the appreciation in the AUD against the USD? i wouldn't have thought we would see such a disparity that AUD would get to .9994 USD.
