Carbon. Only the best

Will be interesting how easy it is to hook up. Will hopefully be at logan Saturday night. I don't have a oneway (or spool) so it might not realise its full potential just yet. But will give it our best.

It really is a sweet looking car. The drivetrain is insanely good and free. If it drives as well as it looks it should be special.

No new toy for a little while.... funds are a little tight.... unless someone is willing to help out, maybe Adam, I'm sure he can't wait to have his butt kicked

See some of you at Logan tonight.

PS Yes I am deadshorting that battery. Please don't do this unless you know exactly what you're doing - if you don't do it right, it can totally ruin your pack, catch fire, make cells pop, etc etc.

Gone from racing altogether? Gone from Yeronga?

Don't leave us Brad. You're one of the club's true gentlemen.

Default Agreed

I'd like to know what Brad P (B1) is up to, it would be a shame to not have him around at racing any longer...

Default Championship wrap-up

Good to hear that B1 is only leaving us temporarily

Now for the mid season wrap-up:

Teams Championship:
T&M have the lead but it's a slim margin over Masters Apprentices, with Team Gibbo in a close 3rd.

As for the favourite....hmmmm....too close to say, with the right results any of the 3 teams could win.

F1 540 Championship:
After a very slow start with minimal numbers, F1 540 has grown to a healthy entry of 7 cars. With Tamiya, Duratrax and a Corally or two all represented. Scott has taken a good lead in the races to date, with only Stuey getting by for a win. Scott may be running only the tourer this round and therefore his 2nd place points will count for the championship - leaving space for Steve, Tyson and Brian to increase their points.

Scott is the favourite, followed by Steve, Tyson and Brian for the minor placings.

Novice Class:
The season has progressed well in Novice, with Harrison leading the way, closely followed by Robert and Peter.

Harrison would have to be the favourite for the championship - however both Robert and Peter finished ahead of him the last time they all raced together....

Pro Championship:
ATM Tony and Matt (team-mates btw) are in 1st and 2nd in the championship - hopefully there is no conflict in interest (team/driver championship).... Bodie will have a big task ahead of him to make up the difference - with a bit of luck he can get right into the fight. Don't discount Brad H either, new car getting quicker - he could move up a step this race. Jason, David, Sam and Brad P are all in the running for the minor placings.

Favourite: Matt or Tony - 50/50 either one.

Masters Rebuildable Stock Championship:
Steve, myself, Wayne and Martin are all within reach of the championship, with the upcoming race being very important for sveral drivers who have already had a 'throwaway round' myself included. Throw in Scott with his MI2 and there should be some really quick laps - 42 + (if track layout permits).

Favourite: Wayne and Myself are on top at the moment but Steve and Martin are certainly within reach.

See you Friday
