shotky diode is for:

when power is applied to the motor, it spins, however, when you slam on the brakes, the motor does not stop straight away, it needs to slow down, so when power stops being applied, the motor is still spinning. As a result, the motor becomes a generator and can feed power back into the ESC which can be very bad. The diode is like a one way valve, it lets electricity pass through one way but not the other. The diode stops power feed back into the ESC

hope that made sense :P

I'll be running a SPort Tuned in Masters on Friday night - does anyone want to do the right thing and help me out with a rollout figure.

Default Wires to use

I'm just wondering what type of wire to use of doing it with the new motor. Any special wire that makes all power go straight to the motor with sacrificing it through heat. Hope you know what i mean

Default Wires

Hi Jason,

With wires, you generally aim for the lowest guage when you have an option.

ie. mostly 12,13 or 14 guage is the way to go - anything higher is less efficent.

hope this helps

Yes I'm nearly ready for tomorrow, The TC3 team car should be ready for a run and again there will be plenty of competition, and I'll take some more photos - Hopefully better ones this time.

See you there

Default Control Tyres

Hi Ian, I believe that Hobby One has the tyres in stock $28.99 a pair - or you could look at getting some used ones from someone at the track.

remember that you also need narrow 24mm wheels and narrow inserts
