Default What would you choose

Guys,
I'm looking at getting an ofroader for a bit of fun...Looking to do a bit of jumping and general basic track work - I'm not looking to get into racing

Which is the better choice from these 2 ?
Not starting a flame war, just want to know what's better for someone in my position

Does anyone have any exp with either of these two ?

Option 1
http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=163376

Option 2
http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=161832

Thanks,

Ben

The hyper is a much better car quality wise than the rtr eb4 s2 out of the box. Have a think about parts availability as well though. What does your local hobby shop carry as spares or do they even support either car.

HAHAHA I didn't even think of that....I should see if any of the LHS's hold parts for either...Brains are always engaged after the fact I guess.

I've got 3 x Kyosho outlaw raider kits so you'll never be short of spares. You can have them for $100 each, great for jumps man. One kit is built the other 2 are brand new for spares. They are trucks though.

Why do you want a buggy if your planning to bash it? A MT is 1000x more fun to beat on.

I'm just trawling the F/S Forum..
Budget is around $300ish for a full setup....so there's not many options

Don't be too keen to dismiss the EB4 straight up. It's a good honest buggy, and parts are easy enough to get and reasonably priced. They will also make a good club level racer with a little chassis tuning.
