Receiver voltage and receivers

I have a brushless mini T with an 8000kv Mamba and Mamba 25 esc, can anyone tell me if a 3 cell lipo (11.1 volts) will do any damage to my ESC or RS310 receiver ???? I figured 11.1 vts is quite a bit higher that the 7.2 it currently uses.

Thanks !!

The Mamba 25 will take up to 12 cell NiMh or 3 cell Li-po

I am not sure with the receiver, That can always be disabled and a seperate 7.4v li-po pack be used to power that ie 850MiAh

not sure about the speedy but you can get a voltage regulator for the esc. designed for lipo's to drop voltage to 6volts.

you can get these from tower hobbies for about US$20.00

dude if you need a voltage regulator i have one for sale, it is the VXR Model. very good, and small. PM me

the mamba esc's use a bec... battery eliminator circuit. this means you don't need to run a seperate receiver battery pack because the ESC lowers the voltage from 11.1, 7.4 or 7.2 to the receiver to 4.8 and 6v.
