Exclamation Breaking News!

PRECC is excited to announce that we will be moving into a new permanent facility built by Perth RC Models and Hobbies at their new store in Morley, just a stones throw away from our current venue. This is a huge step forward for the club about to start it's 35 year and we can't wait to get started.

The new facility means, no more setups, no more pack ups, more racing, access to the track anytime during the day and much more.

PRECC sends a huge thankyou to Perth RC and can't wait to get started in the new year.

More details to come.

Do you have a rough idea as to when the track will be open?

Club night this Tuesday guys, and a few of us in sportsman class(21.5) are running our GT body. Scale racing at its finest here! Cars look great going around the track. so if you want something different come on down. Of course there will be all other classes running too, so make the trip and have some fun!

Looking to race Touring in Morley as I live just up the road. Thinking about getting a BD7 and racing sportsman class. What ESC/Motors and tyres do you guys suggest?

Best bet is head down and speak with the drivers. There are quite a few BD7s in the class. For tires look at sweep 24R or sorex 24R. The GTB esc you have will be fine as its blinky class. As for motors, plenty to choose from. LRP, team Orion, reedy, etc.

sweep 24 is the only tyre to have

the only class running now is sportsman which is 21.5 motors
orca
r1works
team powers
are what the others are running

esc doesnt really matter as long as it can run blinky mode

hobbywing juststock
skyrc ts 50 are some of the options
you could spend lots more for no real benefit

Hi, I'm fairly new in Perth and used to race off road at Ryde and tinkered a little with onroad at SMACC a few years ago.

I'd like to come along to check out the track at PRECC and was wondering if the off-road track is still going or is it back to on road only?

Cheers and looking forward to dropping by.

G'day Nic,

We are back to on-road only. The numbers for indoor off-road weren't there, so we extended our on-road track instead.

Still, hope to see you come down and have a look.
