At brushfarm, i think Xray, Tamiya and Losi are up there.
Stock its an Xray or Losi, and in mod its either the Xray or Tamiya. Please correct me if i am wrong.
An x-ray on top at forrestville? I think you should check again....
When I run (TAO4-R) I A L W A Y S lap the field including second place, just look at my name at the top of their pointscore. The only person running mod just happens to have an x-ray.

My TAO4-R also won the last comp held there (X-MAS cup)

As far as cars go there is no comp specific car that is really that much better than any other. X-rays seem to be common but there are plenty of other cars out there that are fast too

Late April / Mid May expect to see total Corally domination at every track in Sydney, 1/12th and ISTC

Do you expect the new Assassin to dominate that much??
I have seen pics of the car but no feedback yet on how it performs. The changeable drivetrain is interesting...

Also i believe some are better for stock and others for mod.
Bradd, what kind of cars do you mean with this comment ?
I've recently owned a Mission, Atlas and a Losi

I think that the fastest of them for me was the Losi, the Atlas should be better once i set it up correctly and the Mission was good from Day One thanks to a great setup from Gavin Leys, but the speed for me was nothing special. The losi was also setup well but it seemed to have an edge in efficiency...The Atlas' drivetrain seems pretty smooth but i am not sure how the narrow chassis affects the handleing.

AT TFTR the last meeting in Stock:

Schumacher Mission
Schumacher Mission
Corally C4.1
TC3
Schumacher Mission
Tamiya EVO3
Tamiya EVO3
TC3
Losi XXX-S
Losi XXX-S G+

For Mod:
Schumacher Mission
HPI Pro3
TC3

I think its fairly obvious that wherever a product is pushed it succeeds. Eg Corally and XRay in Sydnay and Mission in melbourne. They are all good with the Mission just being slightly better than the rest Just kidding.

Buy what you like as long as you can get parts for it cheaply and it is one of the more well known cars

Because noone else wants to! there are heaps of people in stock, so its more fun. The mod driver is just bored of stock so he put a mod in his car.

Meakin dosent get to run mod every meet but every now and then the boys blow off the cobwebs and go hard.I think the track record is held by a mod leccy.
