I think registration is around 9.30 and first race around 10 am. Last time out they had three qualifiers and three finals plus a good lunch break. So there is plenty of time to get on the track for practice and also the track was in top nick last time out so I'd expect that it would be the same tomorrow.

Cheers

No problem
I'd like to see that... you must have been up all night on your roll-out calculator to figure out that you can do it

Actually, I wont be surprised if you do, and will be happy for you. I'll be around 113.5 - 115km/h so that's cool

I took some great photos today at off-road. Ahhhh, digital cameras, 333 photos on one camera!!! Not all of them that good. I'll print some of the best out for people to take home. There are some great shots from behind with cars cuttin' chunks of clay up. The track surface lent itself to some good offroad imagery.

Hey bjones,

The on-road meetings are usually the second and fourth sundays of each month. This month, however, the St Ives Show is on the 22nd of October (which would be the third Sunday) and we are having a demonstration off-road meeting at the show.

The next on-road meets at our track are on the 11th and 25th of November.

Some of us are going to Whalan this weekend though...

Default Track Working Bee

Just to lets us all know that there will be a three hour working-bee on the 14th of October from 1pm to about 4pm.

If you can make it, for some or the whole time it would be greatly appreciated. Stu has already done some work on the top sweeper and says it is back up to scratch... With any luck we'll have the whacker back and the track will be better than ever!!!

I've got nothing on that weapon!

I won't be able to make the working bee... I work saturdays... If it was a Sunday, I'd definately come up.

Hi All,

I just want to thank Marg for putting on an excelent event yesterday. We got through the program incredibly quickly and consequently wrapped up rather early.

It shows what is possible if everyone chips in.

See everyone next round!

Default Off-Road Was Great!

Just a quick 1st post to say how good this weekend's off-road was at St Ives.

Great to see that afew people from years gone by, coming out of the woodwork with fresh enthusiasm for the sport and that a number of people are turning up with 4WD's to hammer it out.

I'm hoping that this is a sign of things to come and the resurrection of 4WD lead to some more fantastic racing over the summer.

Catch you next meet.

When I get my 4wd sorted I'll be up there. Not every meet. But as many as I can get to.

It'd be great to see 4wd get a bit more popular.

Yeah off road was great yesterday, the track was quite challenging and that's what it's all about. All the people that I raced againts showed great sportsmanship and your right Litespeed about the revived enthusiasm, not only in 4wd but in 2wd as well.

Thanks go to the organisers of the club for putting on a great club meet.

See you all next meet.

Arrow On Road Loop

Hi Ben, I would just like to let you know that the loop worked really well and thanks for cutting it in for us.
I still have your silicone gun, ring me if you need it (99706779) or Marg's mobile 0422 983 677.
2nd Sunday meet clashed with 'Bathurst 1000' and 4th Sunday is the St Ives show, so will be having a Club Promo day at the show.
No on road, however there a few of us going to Eastern Creek (Whalan Reserve) next Sunday, so hope you can make it there.
Thanks,
Tony G.
