Hi, Ryde people,
Just some info for you.
Liverpool rc club, is running an open class on their club days now, which you can race your 1/8th electric in and any monster trucks, and any 1/10th electric.
Thought a few of you had 1/8th EP, also they are talking of an Aus title for 1/8th EP this year, at the LRRCC club, so give it a go.
club site is
www.lrrcc.com

Thanks for the heads up... But from memory, LRRCC have a locked policy on their track, which makes it hard for non-club memebers to practice.
Is this still the case?

yeah hard to practice, but easy to race, I dont bother to practice, until race day, you can practice in morning as much as you like.
Only thing is, if there is large numbers expected, racing starts at about 9am.
Its a great 1/8th track.
How many ryde drivers have 1/8th EP now?

Hi

There is about 10 SCT up at Maitland some of us were thinking of coming down to ryde for a meeting but was looking at the classes and no mod do you have this class for SCT

about 6 cars are box stock and we have 2 with 5700 1 with 8.5 and 1 with 6.5

is it pointless coming down

Both Saturday and Sunday series have good numbers of SCT.
Last Sunday we had 12 x 13.5 SCT and 1 x Ho Bao 4wd SCT.
Saturday we had 14 in round 2 and 9 in round 3.

We cater for Box Stock, 13.5 which we call Pro2, and Open class which we also call Pro4 and this class includes 4wd SCT and open Mod motor 2wd SCT.

13.5 seems to be the dominant clas of SCT but we usually have 1 or 2 Open SCT which run with the 13.5's, as well as the occasional Box SCT.

If we have enough Open SCT we will separate them.

We are getting SCT from other clubs such as LRRCC, SMA, Castle Hill, and St.Ives.

Come down and have some fun at Ryde, it will be good to see all the Maitland crew join the Ryde crew for some good SCT racing action.

For more info just join in the talk on our SCT forum.

Still come on down. If there are enough mod guys, then you will have a class of your own, otherwise you will run with the other SCTs, but will not have points allocated for the season.
I ran my Hyper 10SC 4x4 last Sunday meet and it was a blast..

Default Inter-Club Shield

OK guys. I know you're still licking your wounds after last weekend, but I'm putting the word out now.

Inter-Club Shield - Sunday July 25.

2 Drivers from each Club in each class.
Each Club will need to nominate a team Captain (By May 29).
Team Captains will need to put the teams together. 2 Drivers in each class - 2WD Stock, 2WD Mod, Truck Stock, Truck Mod, 4WD Stock, 4WD Mod.
5 Teams - Castle Hill, Maitland, Ryde, St Ives & Barbarians. The Barbarians will be made up of drivers from outside clubs and will have the ability to recruit from the left overs.

Venue TBC
