when for new corally
hello
i'm just wondering does anyone know when the new corally touring car is being released in australia and like how big is the first shipment gona be |
well, im thinking late 2010.. LOL, nar seriously, i dont think anyone really knows.
|
April 2003.... estimates on QTY have not been worked out yet.
|
Have corally got a new car (that works and the team drivers are not complaining about) ?
|
that new corally is based on a good idea, whether or not the finished product will be any good i dont know. id say the reason its taking so long is because they have to spend so much time making sure xray cant copy it. and ac maybe you should lay off the corallys i mean your basically driving one just more "luxourious".

they have to spend so much time making sure xray cant copy it. Hudy is a major supplier to Serpent, as well as other car manufactures. Hmmm funny I could have sworn I have seen the Serpent logo on the corally's suspension :weird: I would not be surprised if that the metal work for the C4 & 4.1 are crafted by Hudy or they had something to do with the initial design. These companies work together, don't be surprised to see similar cars popping up. For instance, take a look at the Nitro Touring cars, I thought I had seen the design some where before ! Park one of these beasts next to an 1/8th scale car and go WOW, what a copy !!! And that's when you park a Kyosho next to a Mugan or Serpent. The Xray is very similar to the C4 Corally, but it took Hudy to make the car properly so all the parts fitted like they should. |

there was nothing wrong with the C4, only with the C4.1  |
I own a C4 euro and havn't had any alignment issues. :weird:

I think you 'll find that originally Corally used Serpent parts and Serpent produced parts for them under contract.
Now that Serpent have used the original Corally C4/C4.1 design and refined it to produce the XRay, Corally have broken all ties with Serpent as this was just not cricket... (Americans: I'll explain what cricket is another day!!) Corally produced all the alloy and carbon parts in house and still contract out the injection moulding components to other specialist companies. But you won't find any more Serpent parts on the new car! Also you will note that the prototype photographed has all alloy proto-parts for arms and hubs etc as these were produced at Corally for R&D testing as it is not feasible to produce moulds and get production runs done while testing and developing the parts. You can see many traits from various manufacturers in other cars these days which is good I reckon. Once something that is a great idea, that works well is produced, other companies should use these ideas and try to improve on them, this is how things progress and we get better cars to play with :-) |
haha..i had problems with my c4..specially after i put into the gutters at the summernats 2 years ago...bye bye car..
so i started using a CEN..best touring car ever made..:weird: |
Ha! That's useful on a Corally thread!!
|
there is nothing new under the sun!
i was of the understanding that the snake arms were off a trialed and failed serpent entry into electric... who cares really the result is 2 good cars xray and corally you only have to look at GRP and or all the nova/picco clones to see how european companies seem to work! cookie - 'another day' - what only 1 day to expalin cricket! |
:) iam never usefull, iam a Pain.
