It just replaces the dead ones. Alot of 19t entrants could come from stock.

I say YES, it is a big jump to go from stock into mod, 19t may fill that gap nicely.

It gets a yes from me. I have been looking at this class over the last few weeks. Soon, I will run 19t on the CH non point score nights for something different.

From previous experience at EC 19turn was quite good fun, and quite fast. No matter what happens to mod regarding cell numbers if 19t gets up i expect it would dominate with entrant numbers and maybe even become the fastest TC class. The class did take drivers away from Mod, mostly because 19t entrants were the usual mod entrants, 19t was less boring, and provided great track battles. Batteries and Electronics are certainly not an issue in 19t.

If the class became a State Title and National Class id say a good number of racers would race the class week in week out at club level.

Is it fair to say that 19t would appeal to quite a few stock racers (who feel the need for more speed)?

I have been trying to get support for spec 19t for ages,

my old V2 based spec 19t is getting old and I have these new Z-zone based 19t motors to test

I don't think you would see too many serious mod guys dropping back to 19t but the number of stock guys stepping up would be healthy, I think SJP and Rod M would step up and old guns like Atomix would have to go up.

to make it interesting and more appealing to everyone can we look at running 19T class with a longer race time (7-8 mins)

what does everybody think?

But I thought motor limits dont work>?

it becomes a battery war or you end up cranking the motors until they explode or some garbage..

these 19T motors don't have adjustable timing, they are basically the same as 27t stock (machine wound, 24deg timing) but with a 19t armature and ball bearing.

you can use the same packs/ESC/car/tyres as 27t stock, even my setups between 27-23-19 turn are almost the same,

its all good.
