Default Alycat...

OK, Alycat ran VERY well all weekend, and waited till the very end to annoy me...
lol...

Nah, it just seems to be a very minor bug in it's aggregate calculations, and as Dave said, always dropped the last round.
Also, sometimes it rewarded 0 points for people who did actually finish the race in second, third, etc.

As for disqualifications, There were only 3, and they were mostly in qualifying.
All were for being 15grams underweight.

Once again, thanks guys for 'behaving' and making this event as smooth as possible. I will gladly run this event again next year.

I'm looking forward to actually being able to race against you guys at our ICC round.

I can't wait till see how quick you can all go next year...

Hi Robbie,

Good question, well asked:

The overall placings were decided in the following way:
You score points for where you finish in each final. (1=1st, 2=2nd etc...
These points are added up.
Your worst finish is subtracted from the total.
In the case of a tie break situation, the placing from your dropped result is used.

So...
Adam Clarke hosed us all in Stock and finished with 2 points (and victory), next came Adam Gustafson and Simon Cousins, both on 5 points, so we used their droped round to resolve this tie, Adam Gustafson finished in 2nd and Simon 3rd. 4th place went to myself (Mark Wallin) on 7 points then yourself (Robbie) on 8 points, Jademon 6th on 9 points, Rick Austin next on 10 points and Jani 8th on 15 points.

I've attached the table used to calculate the overall results. Were perfect, but only in a NASA kind of way so if you spot somthing you think is incorrect pleae feel free to cotnact me.

Mark

Hey,

Thanks for clearing that up!

Yeh i was wondering what was going on as i noticed all the Third A finals had been dropped but that wasn't everyone's worst round... so something was up.

Anyway, I'm still content with my 5th place lol if i didn't drive like such a monkey in the last two finals i wouldn't have had to worry about alycat organising things better

Cheers to the ACT guys again. I'll see you all next year!

Cheers,

Robbie
