On/off Switch
 

Just a quick newbie question.

Why would you remove the on/off switch on the esc?
I arc'd the battery when i tried to plug it in. Brought gear 2nd hand as getting back into racing.

Any input be appriceated

Could be they damaged the switch and it was easier to just short out the wiring instead of replacing the switch. Another common reason would be one less part the fail if you removed it.
