The TT01 is an ok car for most things, the problem is the gearing is restricted in it, so the only classes you'd be able to run in is 540 Novice and Stock. The car can not be geared down low enough to run in 540 Pro.

You are better off with a second hand TA04 or new TA05. Far better car/s than the TT01.

How about doing some work of your own and actually calling hobby shops?

For roughly the same price you should be able to get a TA05 which is a much better platform. Also the 05 is a new car with a ton of parts available if / when you want to upgrade.

Hicksey by looking at the topo thread is this for TCS or just to race at your local club? IF it is for TCS you should work out what class you want to run and then with in the rules pick what car you want. If you are looking at GT1 then TA04 or 05 will be good but if for stock you should be looking at TT01.
