Indoor facility
Merry Christmas to All I was told to contact someone in this chat room/page I was thinking about opening up an indoor facility to house both off road and road use for the RC world. Located in Sydney NSW I need some advise on how to scope it out. Ie membership style and the fees associated with it. I need your input |

Great idea, but to be brutally honest, unless you own the building and you are doing it for the love of RC, I can't see you getting enough regular racers to cover overheads, and certainly not enough to make a viable business out of it.
Hopefully I'm totally wrong, but I don't think I am. |
Maybe consider getting a regular booking at a decent-sized carpeted hall instead. Temporary facilities do work, and you're not going to have to carry the financial burden as much if there's a low turnout of entries.

Undercover RC in Rutherford just recently closed and were selling all there equipment, ie; jumps, carpet, tables, chairs etc. Not sure if they’ve sold it yet but it would be a good start if you wanted to do it. But yeah, like it’s been said, unless you own a building or warehouse, it’ll be a difficult venture. But in saying that, I would be there as often as I can to support it if it was to happen. |
