AARCMCC rule this year is Fri practice only. If there are enough interest from interstate racers, we will ask AARCMCC if we can open the track a day earlier for practice.

That is not an AARCMCC rule, though not a bad idea.

To easy, thanks for responding.

There's been no change to the AARCMCC rules in 2017 pertaining to the duration of practice. Minimum requirement is 1 full day, up to 2 full days of practice immediately prior to the event which is at the discretion of the host club. (Unless the application only stipulated the 1 day)

Sorry, you are both correct, my bad... I got it mix up as stage 2 of Friday practice only was mentioned on the 3 stage 1 rule change this year. I just went through the document to verify. Here's the only 3 rule changes this year.

Stage 1 – Apply to change these rules prior to the start of 2017 season.
Points System to be introduce with a top 4
Reduce Qualifying to 7 minutes
Remove engine restriction rule

Due to interstate entries demand, the track will now open on Thursday from lunch time for open practice. Thank you.

What's the go with tyres for this meet? Is it open and present to scrutineering to be marked?

Correct, this goes for foam and rubber for GT. If you want to use mark tyres the next day, you need to impound them.

Please consult the GT rules, I think there is a limit on GT. From memory, up to 2 sets for qualifier and lower finals. Option for one more set for the final.

No limit for all other classes.
