where are version 1 bar codes available to purchase locally?

Seems an unusual tyre choice, given it's been superseded a few years ago....!!

The v1 has not been superseeded and is still available. The v1 has a different bar pattern when compared to the v2, and the v1 has more tread contact area laterally across the tyre which offers more forward bite.
We did some testing of the v1 and the v2, and found the v1 to work slightly better on our track surface.
If you go to http://www.acehobbyaustralia.com.au/stockists and type in your postcode, it will tell you where your closest hobby shop is who can supply them to you. Cheers.

Typically you can expect 4 heats, 3xA and 2xB/C/etc. finals.

The rules allow for up to 6 heats, but that's an anachronism that's too boring to explain the origin of. If it's anything other than 4 heats I will be shocked.

No limit on tyres, however there is minimal tyre wear on the Ryde surface. 1 set can easily last a full days racing.

There might be a couple of minor tweaks, and looks like some "school holiday" damage will have to be repaired.

The club president Grant Michelmore will elaborate more about upcoming track changes.

Thanks to Matt Kellett, Ace Hobby Distributors Australia, and JConcepts for supporting Ryde with the upcoming AARCMCC NSW 2016 State Titles.

We have just added a few more hop over jumps, and a chicane on the back straight with a raised apex. There may be a few "tweaks" as Roman said above, however that's about all we feel the track needs as it flows nicely at the moment and provides some good close racing.

Cheers,
Grant M.

The open cell foam inserts which are supplied in the tyre package are to be used
Any other insert used in the spec tyres would make them non legal.
You can look at the rules for the event on the link on the first post
Cheers
