Last time I was there, a couple of years ago, I saw a few bike riders going up and down, it does look like a good spot for that.

I thought I detected a faint yellow colour in the double lines down the middle of the road too. So, I guess there isn't much vehicle traffic, and road doesn't get much maintenance! (Those under the age of about 20 may not have any idea what I'm talking about.)

Is there a minimum number of competitors for each class? Am considering getting a 1/12 pan car to run.

I think its 5. They might run with less depending on scheduling.

AARCMCC Rule 2.7.2
The minimum number of entries in a class is 8 to be recognised as a championship class. Classes with less tthan 8 may be run at the discretion of the host club

Unfortunately no one is traveling these days. The guys that did travel 3-5 years ago are either just doing club meets or are no longer in the hobby.

Is it becoming to hard or expensive to travel to these meets for the three days required? I know if I go away racing I am taking time off work without pay. I know a few more people that do the same.

Just throwing out ideas. Would it attract more entries if it was a two day event? Practice and a couple of qualifiers on Saturday and then a couple more Sunday morning then finals in the afternoon.


If it wasn't for friends I couldn't afford to travel to the races I do.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out. Just no chance of getting the time off work.
Really dissapointed. After missing the finals at the nats I was really looking forward to returning, and having a crack at F1.
