G'day Mikey, How did those in purist class find the original tyres on RC 10 and Kyosho's for turning laps?

Any thoughts about using these?

The cars on the old tyres slid around a lot but the guys looked like they enjoyed the challenge. No modern tyres in the purist class. It's gotta be the old school knobbly hard tyres
