To the Canberra IC boys, there's a soft spot in both Luke and I to come down but cant commit until it nears and I have a better picture of whats going on at work and commitments at England Park have ramped up as well... will try

Kanea6 02-26-2014 02:46 AM

Ill be defiantly trying to come down again this year had a good time last year

Kane would be good to see you down for them again. New surface laid, making the track much smoother. Less tyre wear after it is finished bedding in we hope.

Would be good to see you and Luke if you are able to make it. Work will always throw up challenges for us to go away and enjoy ourselves racing.

Hopefully Fingers Crossed

It's not the cold that you worry about it's the fog lol. Hopefully I will be there to keep the 1/8th scale guys honest. Had a great time running pull start last year, time to move up in the game.

It is cold dazza, last year when I got in the car it said it was -4 lol, I remember last year Steve j went and bought gloves and we all had them on in the warm up then as the race started everyone had them off and they where all on the ground behind us lol. But it's good fun

Awesome so hopefully I won't have to worry about a tyre change then which really hurt me last year lol

I better add it to the calendar!! Are GT cars running also?

Roberto168 04-04-2014 01:14 AM

Roberto, at this stage there has been no plans to run the GT Class. We have a meeting next. I will pose the question and advise accordingly.

The guys that raced pullstart last year have step up this year. Phil, Dan and Will have gone to tourer. Ben and myself have stepped up into 1/8th. Might get better interest from running GT this year than pullstart. Will know more by entries into the NSW titles over Easter. I heard through the grape vine that the track has good grip and a lot less tyre wear with the new surface. Should be a fun event.

We will look at this option for sure and notify everyone asap. What has happened with the ladies are they not running pull start. If pull start is not going to have a class than GT is every chance to get the gong.

So now I have to battle you in 1/8th and Ben in 1/10th. Let the fun begin at NSW Titles. And continue into the ACT Titles. Should be good.:lol::lol:

Track surface is coming along nicely. Tyre wear is better than last year for sure. Some more running to bed it in more by all counts from others who have laid this product to their track will improve the grip as well as tyre wear.
