In a nutshell for Touring car tyres only:
Thursday and Friday: tyres are free choice. Tyres are also available from Andy at the track ($35 for those that have not paid with entry).

The only tyres acceptable for qualifying and finals are those supplied by the race committee in bags for each competitor (number of sets as per competitors request on the entry form).

Saturday: Tyres will be handed to each competitor (number of sets as per their request on the entry form) at scrutineering and are to be labelled with each competitors entry number and for "qualifying". These will be handed back in again at the end of Saturday.

Sunday: The qualifying tyres will be handed back to each competitor for use in qualifying. The finals tyres (again number of sets as per their request on the entry form) will be handled to the competitor. These are to be labelled with each competitors entry number and for "finals". For the finals competitors can use any of their qualifying or finals labelled tyres. i.e. can use only one set of tyres labelled qualifying for the both Saturday and Sunday rounds if desired...

Hey guys hope you enjoyed todays qualifying rounds for the states. Disappointments for some but tomorrow is another day.

A setup station was found that had been left behind today by a competitor. On the middle lower bench probably around Alfred and David Bolt. See me tomorrow to collect it.

thanks for such a great event
i had a few goals (winning was not one of them actually!! considering my car class). improve my own lap time, achieve good reliability, and avoid contact.
I was surprised to see trophys at the end! I did make a comment earlier in this forum about those for 1/8th class thats why i was not expecting a trophy. i hope the other 1/8th drivers didnt have a nervous breakdown from having to avoid my car all the time, but you all did very well.

The WA State Titles had been run and won.

A few track records were bettered by drivers at this event, i.e. 21.5 Sportman lap record and race record as well as the Mini race record. The record on the WCMRC site has been updated.

Thanks to everyone from the club involved with putting the event together. It all went smooth and was a great weekend of racing!

Yep I second that. A great days racing with a lot of it very close. Thanks to all competitors as well for supporting the event.
