Also, while all cars will be race legal in terms of complying with the National F1 Rules they won't all have transponders. The focus will be on having an awesome time with a ridiculous number of cars on the track rather than who beats who. There'll be plenty of time for that when the real racing starts at 10am as it's the first round of the Vic F1 Cup Series with 2 qualifiers and 3 finals, max 10 cars per race, and a very big field of F1's

Maybe you could do me a favour and at the Challenge Cup let F1 racers know that Round 6 of the Vic Cup Series will be at Wodonga on Sat Nov 2 starting at Noon and it would be great to get some NSW guys down to make it a bit of an interstate event. People can register their interest by PM or emailing [email protected]. Cheers

We're required by Guinness World Records to have 2 independent witnesses so they'll be counting the cars that start and the cars that finish. That removes any limitations on number of cars in a race that Alycat might have. We'll be discouraging full on racing as we want all the cars to finish and with 35+ cars on the track it's going to be a little tight at times

I'll do my best to socialise the Wodonga round. Nice track.

Good luck with it, Hope the weather holds out, and you smash the record, and the distance record as well.

Record Attempt Postponed due to Weather
Unfortunately tomorrow's weather forecast is for intermittent rain all day.
Both World Record Attempts, and Round 1 of the Vic Cup Series, are postponed. Tentatively to next Sunday 21 April but this depends on getting some ducks in a row and I will confirm on this thread tomorrow.
I'm sure you're all as disappointed as I am but unfortunately we can't control the weather
I took the decision to postpone now so that everyone can be contacted and those who are travelling don't have a wasted journey.
Will update tomorrow.
