Hi Everyone

for anyone who wants to book accomondation, the club has sourced a few motels that will do cheap rates if you mentioned that you coming up/down to attend the QLD Nitro (IC) State Titles in June. Couple may not have website but have got link for their phone numbers etc. Been advised to book early as well

1) Bel-Air Motel
2) Cool Palms
3) Pioneer Villa
4) Blue Ribbon Motor Inn

also there is a couple more on our club website

If anymore motels/hotels come onboard to support guys flying/driving in, they will be posted on here plus the club website.

Hope this helps out everyone

cheers

Just a reminder to everyone wishing to nominate for the sportsman class, you must register in the main class as well. Just had a few ppl just nominate for sportsman only the past few days

cheers

Nudge.May be a dumb question. In that you have to nominate for both if you wish to run sportsman does that mean you have to pay the noms for both or is it by class and you can run in both.

Hi Dave

you only have to pay once per class. Just to be eligible to run in the sportsman class you need to register in the main class. Pretty sure its the top 15 who register for sportsmans race in the final determined by where you have finished during qualifiers but not 100% certain on that and you not in the A Main final

In short if you want to run both classes and nominate for sportsman, it will only cost you either ($100 early bird price 50 & 50) or $120 (70 & 50).

There will be camping as well Dave and hopefully will be getting 2 of those ensuites for the weekend to allow the campers to have hot showers after racing

cheers

Hi guys,

The need to enter for both the main class and the sportsman class (if you are eligible - I will find and post the criteria later) is only because our timing software doesn't cope well with this situation. It is only a work around and something that we are hoping can be fixed at some stage in the future. As Nudge stated, the cost is the same so the advantage is that 15 racers get some extra track time on Sunday afternoon.
