Default AARCMCC 2012 Calendar

When or where can I view the 2012 AARCMCC events calendar as I would like to start to organise holidays and book accomodation early?

270 + veiws or there abouts and it shows people want information but are having trouble finding it

to make a sport / hobby grow we need to know what events are out there

can stickys at the top of the page be made for AARCMCC events for different classes

eg Electric 1/8th and 1/10th to have there own calendar posted

and then 1/8th and 1/10th I.C calendar to be posted

it would make attended events a lot easier ?

which i would hope increase entries as more people would know about different events for the upcoming year ?

surely all state and national titles for bothe electric and I.C could be posted as a min

There is an RC Tech procedure for stickying a thread. It is only stickied inside 1 month before the event. We could ask the mods that they sticky official AARCMCC State titles 2 months before an event, and National Titles 3 months before an event, or something like that. They might oblige us.

A request for a full calendar is likely to go unanswered for a while though. The locations and exact dates of some of the events have probably not been confirmed yet. Most of the AARCMCC rule books have rough dates in them for various events. It would be good if the dates in the rule books were more specific, i.e. '3rd weekend in August' instead of simply 'August' or 'Mid August'. This would make it possible to post a full calendar even if the host hasn't yet been decided. A 'Provisional' designation could be made next to such events. Occasionally (rarely) special circumstances mean it is necessary to move an event, so the provisional designation would be necessary.

If you read what I wrote, it began with "We could ask..." At present the rule is 1 month for everything.

Thumbs up for that! It would make so much easier for clubs trying to organise events and interclub challenges. There are also a few that need to organise their holidays early every year.

Its a new year and some of us have to get booking holidays and make early travel plans.

A race calendar for Electric on road would be greatly appreciated.
